Who has cosplay plans coming up? Any conventions you're looking forward to? What are you working on atm?

Currently I'm putting together a Tony Tony Chopper (one piece) cosplay and Embarassment (Inside Out) for a con coming up in a few weeks - I have once again left it till last minute lol

I'm looking forward to DragonCon. Honestly, I'm behind on making stuff as well as the rest of my friend group. XD But I will be having a shiny umbreon (Pokemon) done since it is for a group cosplay and a deaths head hawk moth inspired outfit for a group cosplay as well. We were supposed to have another group one done but we collectively decided to push it back to next year. Otherwise other outfits are just going to be everyday wear, renaissance fair stuff, and then I have a Doctor Strange dress that I bought from Hot Topic a couple of years ago and brown faux leather leggings that work for a very easy/casual cosplay.

I wish I could get into cosplay but I have so many hobbies that cost money :')

I did cosplay Bee from Bee and Puppycat because it was really easy given the simplicity of the outfit. Plus having brown hair I only needed to add volume and I was set. Unfortunately it was much more indie at the time and very few people recognized me. 😭

I really wanna get into cosplaying more. Last time, did a Chopper. My weight stops me from doing any cosplays though so trying to lose it, and then get involved♡

Currently in the process of working on my Stolas (helluva boss) cosplay, halfarsed working on my Tigera (Avengers) costume (not looking forward to skinning her glovessigh) and then planning a character from a song (the Yellow Jester from Court of the Crimson King).

Though most of my cosplays are OCs I think I have like 4 are cannon characters 5 if you count my strawberry pimp Alastor

Been cosplaying for a long while! Slowed down after quarantine though.

Though next cosplay is probably gonna be Jett from Valorant for a local con~

20+ year cosplayer here. Good god I'm old. I've actually already been to a couple cons this year so I'm exhausted. A couple weekends ago I went to the insanely hyper-specific Halcy-Con, a convention celebrating the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. And it was a blast! In a couple weeks I'm going to TFCon in Baltimore - I've been to a bunch of TFCons and they're just perfect vibes. I have a regular costume I like to bring that's comfortable and functional, and I think I'll be throwing together another very casual human transformer cosplay. Like I said, exhausted!! Might have more time to prep for next year if I don't take a thousand trips... haha.
